Here’s what you can expect
-
We will seek to get you in with the right clinician as soon as possible. Because Living Hope provides clinical care with excellence, our clinicians often have waiting lists. However, we will check availability and get back to you within a business day.
-
We want to focus on why you are coming to counseling- not paperwork! We have wonderful support staff that helps us take care of admin tasks so our therapists can focus on what brings you to therapy. When you make an appointment with Living Hope we will provide you with a portal link which will have just a few documents to complete prior to the intake session, which helps us to spend your time in session talking about what brings you to therapy
-
When you arrive for the first session we will briefly talk about the nature of therapy and then we will spend the first assessment session hearing about what brings you to seek therapy at this time, we will ask questions to learn your story, and we will begin the process of creating a treatment plan and we will make recommendations for your course of treatment, including frequency of sessions.
-
Living Hope clinicians all have in person and virtual meeting options. There is often great benefit to meeting face to face, however, at times health, location, travel, weather, or circumstance may make telehealth the better option. Please feel free to talk with our support staff prior to the initial appointment, or your clinician during the initial assessment, or as needs change through the course of treatment.
-
Living Hope has a cancellation policy in order to allow us to hold time for you. We request 48 hours notice, after which we charge a $75 cancellation fee.
Meet Elise
When you call to make an appointment, you will be greeted by our kind, compassionate, and efficient administrative assistant Elise. Elise coordinates appointments and schedules for us, along with managing insurance and billing. We are grateful for all she does to take care of the details and keep us going.
